National Library Week Competitions 2025
1. Book Mark Design (17th Nov)
For this competition, you need to design your own bookmark. You can follow the tutorial below for inspiration:
Materials: Use thick card material to create your bookmark.
Remember, the bookmark can be designed at home and needs to be submitted to Library by 17th November.
2. Comic Strip Design (18th Nov)
Create a comic strip that tells a short story. Here is a video with some helpful tips:
Instructions: Create a minimum of 4 comic strips to a maximum of 10 per page. You can draw your comic strip at home. The topic can be anything you like!
Submit your comic strip to the library by 18th November.
3. Book Cover Design (19th Nov)
In this competition, design a book cover for your favorite book or magazine. Here is a short tutorial to help you with the design:
Instructions: You can take inspiration from books or magazines available in the library.
Design your book cover at home and submit it to the library by 19th November.
4. Essay Writing on the Topic ‘What Will You Do When You Achieve Your Ambition’ (20th Nov)
This competition will be conducted in the library during the 7th and 8th periods on 20th November 2025. Here is a draft idea for inspiration:
Instructions: Write an essay based on your ambitions and what you would do when you achieve them. The essay should reflect your personal aspirations and future goals.
Come prepared to write your essay during the library periods on 20th November. Be sure to bring your own stationery!
