Indian Air Force Day 2025
Indian Air Force Day is celebrated every year on 8th October to honor the valor, dedication, and achievements of the Indian Air Force personnel. In 2025, the IAF marks its 93rd anniversary with spectacular air shows, parades, and demonstrations showcasing advanced aircraft and technologies. After its establishment in 1932 with just a handful of officers and aircraft, the Indian Air Force has grown into a formidable force, playing crucial roles in defending India's airspace, humanitarian relief operations, and strengthening national security.
The 2025 theme highlights “Modernization and operational readiness”, focusing on achievements like Operation Sindoor and the symbolic farewell of the legendary MiG-21. On this day, India's youth are inspired to "touch the sky with glory" and consider careers that serve the nation with pride and honor.
