🏆 JDST 2025 Scholarship Information Report
The Joint Dakshana Selection Test (JDST) 2025 is a prestigious scholarship program offering free coaching for JEE and NEET entrance exams to economically disadvantaged students. Organized by the Dakshana Foundation, it supports students from government and government-aided schools across India.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Current Enrollment: Must be studying in Class 12 Science during the 2024–25 academic year.
- Board Examination: Should have appeared for Class 12 board exams by May 2025.
- Family Income: Annual family income must be less than ₹2 lakh. (No income criteria for Persons with Disabilities - PD candidates.)
- Class 10 Performance: Minimum percentage in Mathematics and Science subjects:
- Engineering Aspirants: General: 85%, EWS/OBC: 80%, SC: 70%, ST: 65%, PD: 55%
- Medical Aspirants: General: 80%, EWS/OBC: 75%, SC: 65%, ST: 60%, PD: 50%
📚 Program Details
- Course Duration: 1 year, commencing after Class 12.
- Coaching: Free residential coaching for JEE and NEET at Dakshana Valley Campus, Pune.
- Facilities Provided: Modern classrooms, library, 24x7 study materials, comfortable hostels with nutritious meals, focus on fitness and sports.
- Cost: All expenses covered by Dakshana—absolutely free for selected students.
📝 Application Process
- Shortlisting: Based on Class 12 Term 1 results.
- Application: Fill the Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA) if invited.
- Test Details: Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Logical Reasoning. 25 questions per subject, +5 correct, -2 wrong, in Hindi & English, conducted at designated centers.
- Mock Tests: Available for familiarization.
- Admit Cards: Issued to eligible students.
- Interview & Document Verification: Shortlisted students invited.
- Final Selection: Selected students receive Dakshana One-year Scholarship.
